Managing Director - Keith Davis

Keith launched Capital Sound Hire Ltd in 1985 after previously been involved in the formation of several other sound rental companies since the late 60’s.  His key roles are to underpin company decision making, create strategies for future planning, and to act as the product buyer for all major equipment purchases. Additionally, Keith is ultimately responsible for the business accounts and all financial related matters.
 
 
 
 
   

General Manager - Paul Timmins

From a background of sound engineering, production and tour management Paul joined Capital in 2000. As a 25 year audio veteran, Paul had previously run a small local audio company and worked on a freelance basis for Capital during the 90’s. Projects such as the tours with Kylie Minogue, IL Divo and The Killers have all been masterminded by Paul as well as numerous other projects over the past 10 years. His astounding technical awareness of the latest gear means evaluation of the equipment combinations and options on offer can be provided instantaneously.
 
 
 
 
   

Project Manager - Martin Connolly

From the heady days of publications such as Melody Maker and Sounds Martin gained a background of sound engineering and touring before going into rental.

After many years of working with AC/DC and Status Quo Martin joined Capital in 1992 and handles a mixture of regular touring accounts and special projects; the most recent being Take That, ATP Festivals, Rewind Festival, Mika, Tokio Hotel, A-ha, Paloma Faith and Katie Melua.
 
 
 
 
   

Project Manager - Charles Ellery

Charles began his career back in 1994 in a Sponsorship Management role on Major European tours including Phil Collins, Janet Jackson and Tina Turner. Having studied Recording, Music Technology and Music Business in 1995 at The Gateway Centre, he moved into sound engineering as a freelancer for Capital.

Since taking on Tour Management for Kasabian during 2003, Charles has moved towards Tour and Production Management, becoming full time at Capital since April 2006. He is currently managing projects including the MOD shows and corporate events and new band development.
 
 
 
 
   

Technical Manager - Ian Colville

Ian entered the audio industry in 1979 and after enduring an extensive apprenticeship, went on to become a successful audio designer involved in projects such as the original Live Aid and other landmark events during the 80's and 90's.

In 1996, Ian become a freelance sound engineer and was regularly employed by Capital Sound on many successful tours and events, often contributing original designs as well as engineering. As Technical Manager, Ian spearheads the technical department at Capital Sound and runs a high end support team for all touring and show productions.
 
 
 
 
   

Resource and Logistics Manager - Pete Gale

Whilst at University Pete managed the technical aspect of full production for university tours up and down the country. Pete then went on to bring his sound engineering skills to London and was heavily involved with installs, one-off shows and corporate gigs. Having gained engineering experience of a high professional standard he decided to move forward into full time management of Hire and Operations in 1997. Pete plays a key role in supporting the project managers, and has designed, programmed and developed the stock management and Project software that the company now uses.
 
 
 
 
   

Project Assistant - Lisa Santos


Lisa has over 10 years of experience in the music industry including being involved with prestigious annual events such as the MTV European Awards, the Brit Awards and Party in the Park.

Since joining Capital Productions in 2003 Lisa has assisted the project managers on all the major tours ranging from Level 42, Grace Jones to the Killers at the Royal Albert Hall. Lisa is highly knowledgeable in show production and is one of the leading women in her field.
 
 
 
 
   

Project Assistant: Leila Farhangi Farrell

Leila supports the Project Managers, show productions, logistics and rental hires, ensuring all the administration is effectively in order.

She deals with aspects of the marketing and promotion of the company, including the feeding of information to the website and the tour 'swag' merchandising allocated to individual tours.
 
 
 
 
   

Accounts Manager - Jayne Timmins

Jayne has the important role of dealing with all things accounts related. She manages the sales and purchase ledgers; as well as handling relationships with clients and suppliers and as an open channel of communication enabling Capital to be efficient in service.
 
 
 
 
   

Warehouse Manager - Richard Wonnacot

Richard began his career organising 'Battle of the Bands' competitions alongside his studies. Having been introduced to the world of live sound Richard decided to gain a deeper knowledge of audio mechanics and progressed with a sound engineering course which saw him graduate in the year 2003.

He instantly found work at Capital as a Warehouse Assistant and was then promoted to the position of Warehouse Manager, were he oversees the day to day operation of the warehouse, the warehouse staff and all the hire equipment.
 
 
 
 
   

Technical support - Anthony Taggart


Originally from South Africa, Anthony had previously managed Pro Repairs in Dublin which was the only company in Ireland dedicated to repairing high end equipment for sound hire and installation companies.

His other experiences include working as an engineer for Litton Lane, also in Dublin, and various technical roles in Johannesburg. As our Technical Support man, his role has developed into taking technical control of our digital console stock and all of our touring IT requirements. He also deals with all of our in-house repairs, and alongside Ian Colville he also deals with any technical queries and support to crew. If it's broke, Ant'll fix it.
 
 
 
 
   

Warehouse Technician - Dennis Williams

All services, repairs and fabrications of the sound rental stock, cables and multi-core systems are taken care of by Dennis. Having worked with Capital for 25 years we can confidently say he is the industries finest of professional repair techs – the ‘cable guy’!
 
 
 
 
   

Warehouse Technician - Bheki Phakathi

Bheki is highly experience, and is often available to support touring productions and give on-site assistance and technical back-up. Bheki up-keeps and maintains the Martin Audio Line Array system in the warehouse. Some of Bheki’s main clients are The Killers, Beverly Knight through to Ocean Colour Scene.
 
 
 
 
   

Warehouse Technician - Chris Mills

After studying a BTEC Diploma in Music Technology at Leeds Collage of Music, Chris worked for Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield assisting touring engineers. As a Capital Sound warehouse technician he currently maintains the Meyer Audio Sound system and assists in the prep and de-prep of tour productions. Currently he has supported the Stereophonic, Gary Moore and Julie Andrews’s concert.
